Love parties that hit so hard you get goosebumps?

About

What Nesetsya DJ school is

About parties and about a bird 🐦

In Ukrainian two meanings meet. When a party truly goes off, people say it “nesetsya” — that state when the bass lands in time with your heartbeat.

And a bird “nesetsya” too — when new life is born. The founder’s surname is Synytsia (a songbird) — hence a school where a new generation of DJs and producers is born.

So Nesetsya is a place where the music truly flies and a new generation of DJs is born — adults and kids.

How it works

How lessons go

Lessons happen live in the studio, on real decks: less talking, more showing and doing together. Practice from lesson one, explained in plain language, no jargon.

Format — one-on-one or in small groups. Usually everything is in person; theory can optionally go online, but mixing and hands-on work happen only on real gear in the studio. And the whole path — from your first touch of the decks to the graduation party — looks like this:

  1. 01

    Meet the decks

Hands on the gear from lesson one — practice, not notes.

  2. 02

    Basics

Beatmatching by ear, EQ, your first clean transitions.

  3. 03

    Music & library

Digging, Rekordbox and picking tracks for your own taste.

  4. 04

    First set

Structure, storytelling and working the dancefloor.

  5. 05

    Recording

We record your mix or set — that’s your portfolio, not a diploma.

  6. 🎉

    Graduation party

Your first live set at the Nesetsya graduates’ party.

FAQ

The key questions

Yes. DJ Basic is built for people who have never stood behind the decks and might not even know where “play” is — that’s fine.
No — at the start the school’s equipment is enough. When you’re ready to buy a controller, we’ll suggest options for your budget.
No. A feel for music and the will to learn matter more. We teach just enough theory to actually help you play.
From age 9. Beyond that it’s individual — we look at the child’s interest, focus and comfort.
Comfy clothes, water, a good mood and a bit of curiosity. We provide the decks, gear and music.

Ready. The rest is up to you.

If the thought of trying yourself behind the decks excites you — you can keep postponing this moment, or finally live it.

DJ courses in Kyiv are mostly in person — on real club gear in our studio. Theory can optionally move online, but mixing and work with EQ, loops and transitions need live practice on the decks. Lessons are one-on-one or in small groups, with a flexible schedule.

We don’t promise “a star in two weeks”. Instead we give an honest result: you leave with a portfolio, not a diploma — a recorded mix, a club set with promo or your own track. Something you can actually show at an audition or on social.

If DJing has been calling you but you kept postponing — start with the form above. We’ll explain formats, duration and price, and pick a programme for your level: from scratch, for beginners, or for advanced DJs and producers.
